Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 15, 2026 · Last updated: August 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Saveza collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Saveza mobile application, website, and related services.

Saveza is operated by Dmitrii Tsariabin, an independent individual developer (“Saveza,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

For privacy questions or requests, contact .

1. What Saveza does

Saveza helps users evaluate retail prices. When you photograph a price tag, Saveza may process the image and information contained in it to identify the product, read the displayed price, search for relevant pricing information, and provide a price assessment such as Great deal, Fair price, or Overpriced.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Photos and price-tag images

When you scan a price tag, Saveza receives the photograph captured through the app. A scan may include product names, prices, barcodes, model numbers, SKU or item numbers, retailer information, promotions, shelf labels, and other text or objects visible in the image.

Scan images may be stored in our cloud storage systems after processing is complete.

Please avoid intentionally including people, payment cards, identification documents, private correspondence, or other sensitive or unnecessary personal information in scan photographs.

2.2 Information extracted from scans

Saveza may extract or generate data such as scanned price, product name, brand, model or variant, product identifiers, retailer information when visible, OCR text, normalized product descriptions, comparable prices, estimated savings, price classifications, and AI-generated analysis.

2.3 Anonymous identifiers

Saveza may use anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers to associate scans with an app installation or anonymous user, enforce usage limits, restore application state, prevent abuse, manage subscriptions or entitlements, and secure the service.

2.4 Device and technical information

We and our service providers may collect technical information such as device type, operating system and version, app version, language or locale, device or application identifiers, IP address, network information, timestamps, request metadata, performance information, and app interactions.

2.5 Analytics, attribution and diagnostics

We may collect app launches, install and attribution information, scan activity, feature usage, screen views, interaction events, session information, usage patterns, crash logs, stack traces, app state, device information, operating-system information, and performance data.

Where permitted by platform settings, applicable law, and our configuration, attribution and analytics services may also process advertising or device identifiers, IP address, AppsFlyer identifiers, campaign or referral information, and in-app event data for purposes such as measuring installs, understanding marketing performance, fraud prevention, and analytics.

2.6 Subscription and purchase information

If Saveza offers paid subscriptions or purchases, we may receive subscription status, product purchased, entitlement status, renewal state, transaction identifiers, and purchase timestamps. Payments made through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the applicable platform. Saveza does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple or Google.

3. Camera access

Saveza requests camera access so you can photograph and scan price tags. Saveza does not continuously record through your camera in the background. You can disable camera access in device settings, although doing so may prevent the core scanning feature from working.

4. Location

The current version of Saveza does not intentionally request or use precise GPS location for the core price-scanning feature. Technical service providers may nevertheless infer an approximate geographic area from information such as an IP address as part of normal internet and security operations.

5. How we use information

We may use information to provide price scanning, process images, perform OCR, identify and normalize products, search for comparable prices, generate price assessments, calculate potential savings, maintain application functionality, operate subscriptions and entitlements, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, monitor performance, measure marketing attribution and campaign effectiveness, analyze how users discover and interact with Saveza, improve accuracy, improve product functionality and user experience, develop and test features, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and protect Saveza and its users.

6. Artificial intelligence and automated processing

Saveza uses artificial-intelligence systems to help interpret scan information and produce product and pricing analysis. Information submitted to these systems may include information extracted from a scan and, where required for functionality, the scan itself or portions of it.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors. Saveza’s price assessments are informational estimates and are not guarantees that a product is available at a particular price or that a purchasing decision will result in savings.

7. Service providers

Saveza relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the application.

Google Firebase and Google Cloud

We may use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase App Check, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Vision, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and related Google Cloud services. These services may process application identifiers, scan information, images, diagnostics, usage data, and other information necessary to provide their respective functions.

SerpApi

Saveza may use SerpApi or similar search infrastructure to obtain or process publicly available shopping and pricing search results. Product information derived from a scan may be transmitted in search queries in order to locate comparable products and prices.

AppsFlyer

Saveza uses AppsFlyer and its mobile software development kit (SDK) and related services for mobile attribution, marketing measurement, analytics, deep linking, and fraud prevention.

Depending on the device, platform permissions, consent choices, and our SDK configuration, AppsFlyer may process information such as app install and launch events, in-app events, campaign or referral information, IP address, device and application information, AppsFlyer-generated identifiers, and certain advertising or device identifiers where available and permitted.

We use AppsFlyer data to understand how users discover Saveza, measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, analyze app usage, attribute installs and conversions, support deep-linking functionality, and help detect fraudulent or invalid activity.

AppsFlyer provides privacy-preserving controls that can limit, anonymize, or restrict certain data collection and sharing depending on our implementation, user choices, platform requirements, and applicable law.

RevenueCat

Saveza may use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases, and entitlements. RevenueCat may process transaction identifiers, app-user identifiers, subscription status, and related information necessary to determine access to paid features.

Apple and Google

Apple and Google may process information in connection with app distribution, purchases and subscriptions, device services, operating-system functionality, and store analytics. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.

8. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf, including cloud, analytics, attribution, subscription, search, AI, and fraud-prevention providers; when required to operate a feature you request; to measure marketing performance; to detect or prevent security incidents, fraud, or abuse; when required by law or legal process; to establish or defend legal claims; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Saveza, our users, or others.

9. Data storage

Saveza uses cloud-based systems to process and store information. Photographs submitted for scans may be stored in cloud storage after the scan has been completed. Information derived from photographs, scan results, anonymous identifiers, usage information, and other application data may also be stored. Data may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which you reside.

10. Data retention

We do not currently apply a fixed automatic deletion period to scan images.

Scan images and related data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Saveza, including improving scan accuracy and product recognition, preventing abuse, resolving technical issues, maintaining necessary records, and complying with legal obligations.

We may delete, anonymize, or aggregate information when it is no longer reasonably required for these purposes.

You may request deletion of information associated with your use of Saveza by contacting . We may need limited information to identify the relevant anonymous installation, transaction, or records associated with your request. Certain information may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

11. Security

Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where required.

15. Children’s privacy

Saveza is not designed or directed specifically to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law. If you believe that a child has submitted personal information to Saveza in a manner that requires deletion, contact .

16. Third-party prices and search results

Saveza may display price information derived from third-party websites, search services, retailers, marketplaces, or other publicly available sources. These third parties operate independently from Saveza. If you visit a third-party service, its own privacy policy and terms apply.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
