Welcome to Saveza

Shopping should not require a research session every time you look at a price tag.

Saveza started with a very simple idea: when you are standing in a store and looking at a product, you should be able to understand whether the price is good in a few seconds.

Today, checking a price usually means taking out your phone, opening a search engine, typing the product name, figuring out the exact model, opening several retailer pages, and trying to decide whether the results are actually comparable. Most people do not want to do that in the middle of an aisle.

The price tag should be enough to start

Saveza is built around the camera. Instead of starting with a search box, you start with the price tag already in front of you.

Take a photo. Saveza reads the useful information from the scan, identifies the product, looks for relevant pricing context, and gives you a simple result: Great deal, Fair price, or Overpriced.

The goal is not to fill the screen with charts, dozens of links, and complicated shopping data. The goal is to help answer one question quickly: does this price make sense?

Why we are building it this way

Prices are increasingly dynamic. The same product can be sold at very different prices across retailers, promotions change constantly, and a large discount label does not always mean the final price is competitive.

We think price transparency should be easier to access at the exact moment it matters — before the product goes into your cart.

Saveza will stay simple

The core experience is intentionally small: scan a price, get an answer, continue shopping.

There is a lot happening behind that simple interaction, including image processing, product understanding, price search, and automated analysis. But the user should not have to think about any of that.

Saveza is being built as an independent product by Dmitrii Tsariabin. This is the beginning, and the product will continue to improve as we learn from real scans, real stores, and real shopping decisions.

What comes next

We will use this blog for product updates, thoughts about price transparency, and practical shopping insights. Our Guides section will focus on evergreen questions such as how to check a price, how price scanning works, and how to tell whether a deal is actually good.

For now, the mission is simple:

Scan prices before you overpay.
